This week's story is about a child's pain and how little he needs to be happy.
His mother tells the story and what he does is so little that many would not call it happiness.
And that word has a lot of meaning.
For example, my son Guillermo only needs sun, water and friends.
At 7 years old I am sure he will never be as happy as he is now.
He runs here and there, splashes in the water, argues with his friends and then they give each other a hug.... and always with a smile on his face.
He simply lives according to his nature.
At this age he only thinks about playing.
Good.
A picture is worth a thousand words, and when I imagined what this child does, I had a special feeling that is hard to describe.
Happiness?
Gratification?
I don't know.
Many times I look for happiness without knowing what the word hides.
And sometimes I feel things that could be happiness or something very close to it.
Without further ado, the comment of a mother happy for her son:
First of all thank you for the wonderful attention and service you provide.
Last week I bought a pair of Merrell Trail Glove 5 for my 10 year old son.
He is a highly sensitive child, he has high abilities and one of the most common characteristics of these children is high sensitivity.
They can't stand seams, labels and some fabrics. His sensations are multiplied by a thousand.
They also have very wide metatarsals.
This has provoked during all these years continuous discussions every time we have bought shoes for him, he couldn't stand any shoe and cried for different reasons.
We have recently discovered minimalist shoes and it has been a great discovery.
He is delighted with his Merrell shoes, he feels comfortable and takes care of them like a treasure, this morning I found him cleaning them with a wipe.
So thank you for opening our eyes and I'm sure this will be the first of many.
Little more to add.
Just one thing. This child used to feel pain and frustration with his shoes.
And now he cherishes it like a treasure.
A treasure that doesn't shine.
That does not advertise any celebrities.
That is not fashionable.
But that doesn't hurt his feet.
The shoes that make this child happy are these:

So that he only thinks about playing and his feet grow in movement.
Wide. So that the toes have room to expand and are not crowded.
Flexible. So that the foot can move in all directions without restriction and the ankle is strong and reactive.
No heel. So that children's backs grow straight and aligned.
Health starts with your feet and your children's feet.
