Running as Forrest Gump

Running as Forrest Gump

I don't know about you, but I would have liked to run Forest Gum.

An exquisite style...
hair waving in the wind...
and in a path with no direction.

The desire remains.
Run, run and only run.
Without looking back.

But as I no longer have the hair to carry the mane to the wind,
neither I can run without thinking of a tomorrow,
I enjoy watching my children run, and from time to time, challenge them to a race.

I'm telling you this for a reason.

I was walking barefoot towards the car when I saw a lot of glass on the ground.
The typical ones when a car window breaks. Small and square.

The first thing I thought was, has a window been broken?

And...the second thing, I am barefoot!

And as much as I tried not to step on them, I always noticed their small edges somewhere.

They didn't hurt me, I just noticed them and quickly lifted my foot or moved the pressure somewhere else.

This is instinctive, it comes out without thinking.
The foot knows how to swing, just like a rocking chair.

And that's where I was.

When the image of Forest Gum sitting on the bench waiting for the bus came to me
telling his life to strangers and saying that life is like a box of chocolates.

And without wanting to, I said to myself:
"Life is also like a floor full of crystals, you never know which one you're going to get stuck in.

Forest compared life to a box of chocolates and I to a floor full of crystals.

I told you that I was barefoot, but a pair of minimalist shoes would have protected me from the small crystals and I would have obtained almost the same benefits from going barefoot.

Life doesn't protect you from crystals, it does.

It's true that we don't know what the future holds, but we do own the present.

Are you worried about your health? Start with your feet.
