19 years using orthotic insoles and this happens

Imagine spending 19 years visiting workshops because your car is broken, and every time you leave, the car is the same or worse.

Now, replace the car with your feet.

That’s exactly what happened to Manuel, a resident of Marchena, who after 19 years of using orthopedic insoles and visiting numerous podiatrists, still faced the same problems.

Manuel has spent a lifetime accumulating insoles in his closet.

He’s tried it all: hard insoles, soft insoles, high ones, low ones… He even underwent surgery for plantar fasciitis, but his discomfort never fully went away.

To top it off, he also suffers from a bunion caused by years of wearing narrow shoes, and we all know this misalignment is closely related to fasciitis issues.

Recently, Manuel visited yet another podiatrist, just one more for the list.

This one made him insoles that he was supposed to wear for an entire year.

Yes, you read that right, a whole year!

But there was a small problem:

Manuel couldn’t even last a day with them. Every time he put them on, the pain was unbearable.

Do you know what the podiatrist told him? That the pain was normal.

"No pain, no gain." Without pain, there’s no gain.

He told him to wear them and endure like a champ.

And since Manuel couldn’t bear it, he went back to the podiatrist, who then said he would “heat treat them” to make them hurt less.

Heat treat? Really? As if the insoles were a cold soup… Oh dear.

This is something else.

But the best part is yet to come.

Manuel asked if he could go barefoot at home because he noticed that walking without anything on his feet felt better.

And here comes the magical response from the podiatrist: “Yes, barefoot at home, but outside always with shoes and insoles.”

Give me a break.

Here, Manuel had an epiphany.

Why is it okay at home but not outside?

If the insole is made when you’re barefoot, why do you have to put it into a shoe that completely changes how your foot works?

Between the heel, the narrow toe box, and the rigid structure of conventional shoes, it’s like putting an off-road tire on a bicycle. Something didn’t add up.

And so, searching and searching, he found us.

He came to the store and shared his story with us.

He told us about his pain, his insoles, and how his instincts told him something wasn’t right.

We talked about minimalist footwear, about freeing his feet… and we showed him the DADA.

Rubén from @rmotion has contributed to the design, and the result is not just good.

It’s spectacular for three reasons:

  • First, the widest toe box you’ll ever try.

Your toes finally have the space they need to move freely, without squeezing or restrictions.

Your feet aren’t designed to live squished like sardines in a can.

  • Second, the style.

They combine materials in such an original way that it feels like you’re wearing art on your feet. They’re stunningly beautiful, but without losing their purpose.

  • Third, the feeling of absolute freedom. They’re like walking barefoot, but without the risks. And that’s the key: letting your feet function as what they are… a marvel of engineering.

So, if you’ve been struggling with pain, fasciitis, or bunions for years, maybe it’s time to change your approach.
Do like Manuel: give your feet the chance to work as they should.

And if you want to do it with style, stop by and check out the DADA.

In every sense, they’re amazing.

Absolutely.

Health starts with your feet.
