Do you want your child to have his grandmother's feet?

Do you want your child to have his grandmother's feet?

"I'm Idoia, a girl from the Pais Vasco, a bit far from Seville.

I've been wearing respectful shoes for months and I'm delighted.

When I was a child I used to be barefoot a lot. As soon as I got home from school I used to take my shoes off and I remember that I felt very liberated. I don't know if it was because of going out of school or because of the shoes...hahahaha

But I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about my mother.

She is 55 years old and has had calluses and nails on her feet for about 20 years.

You know that calluses are very unpleasant and painful.

Every now and then she goes to the podiatrist to "do her feet".

She files the calluses, removes the dead skin, the chafings...

They still give her a lot of trouble. The truth is that your feet look like a painting.

What do you think? Can barefoot shoes help him?"

This question is asked a lot. And not only for calluses, but also for bunions, arthrosis, hammertoes and metatarsalgia, which are very painful and limiting problems.

Shoes that are wide for the toe area, flat, flexible, with little sole and light, will help you and your mother to have strong toes, without crowding, without deforming and in the same plane, so that the pressure is evenly distributed.

But let's start from the premise that the feet are already damaged and getting them right requires patience and time.

And above all, it is important to prevent further deformation.

There is only one solution: wear footwear that respects your feet every day.

But what must be avoided at all costs is to get to that point. And even more so if your feet are growing.

As in children.

Unfortunately this is not the case, and it is very common to find children with problems caused by anti-foot footwear:

  • Those that have thick soles, heels, that are stiff and heavy.
  • Those that are narrow, that deviate the big toe, and that push the toes together.
  • Those with buttresses, which try to control your stride and don't let you feel the impact.
  • Those that don't look like a foot and can be called anything but a shoe.

Then, when the problems appear, you will have to look for a solution. And you will find diagnoses galore. As many as there are professionals in the sector.

Some will get it right, but who will be the lucky one to find it?

For those who don't have any problems yet, you are in luck, because it is easy to let them grow healthy and strong.

All you have to do is let your feet behave like feet.

That's why it's best not to put anything on them.

And if it's cold, rainy or snowy, boots that keep them warm and let them feel where they are stepping, that are flexible, without heels and wide.

Boots that are like gloves for the hands, but on the feet, like these two:

Health starts with your feet.
